Coming in Fall 2026 - M.S. in Teaching English as New Language
The School of Education will offer both an M.S. in Teaching English as New Language (ENL) and an Advanced Graduate Certificate in ENL On Long Island and in New York State, the need for professionals skilled at teaching English to speakers of other languages is fast-growing. These offerings will help meet that need while providing pathways to certification for current teachers.

The School of Education offers academic programs leading to bachelor's and master's degrees that meet both initial/professional and professional certification requirements of the State of New York.
Our programs are approved by the New York State Education Department and we are proud members of the American Association of Quality Educator Preparation, accredited through 2028.
