The Childhood Education and Literacy Department allows candidates to develop the content knowledge and skills necessary to become a successful teacher in the learning environments for students in Grades 1-6.  Our goal is always to prepare educators who will engage and motivate their students in active learning and inspire them to become lifelong learners.

Our programs provide candidates opportunities for hands-on classroom experiences and seek to develop professional educators who are committed, collaborative, and competent in their chosen profession.
