The mission of the Panther Food Pantry is to improve the quality of life among students, faculty and staff on the campus of SUNY Old Westbury by providing access to food and other necessities for those in need.
The Food Pantry at the PCCC stocks nonperishable foods including everything from quick snacks to the ingredients for full meals. We cater to the Panther Community at large and offer items to meet students' basic and personal hygiene. We operate on a first-come first-serve basis and always welcome the opportunity for collaboration on Food Drive initiatives to support our mission of addressing Food Insecurity in the Panther Community.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who does the Panther Pantry serve?
Anyone in the Campus Community - students, staff and faculty.
How does it work?
As of August 20th, 2024 the Panther Food Pantry has implemented a pantry management system called "PantrySoft." Every student must register upon initial visit, and re-register once yearly; this will collect information including your name, Old Westbury ID number (700# or equivalent), student/staff status and household composition. It will also ask you an optional question if you are interested in receiving information about additional benefits. All information collected is confidential, and only accessible to professional staff in the Panther Food Pantry. After registering, you will be able to "log your visit" and "shop" the pantry.
You may shop once per week, following the limitations posted. Based on your household composition size, you will be entitled to 1 or 2 bags.
Please bring a bag!
