Before Your First Day: 

Complete your onboarding package

Before your first day, you'll need to complete required onboarding documents to ensure you're officially hired and on payroll.  The following forms were sent to your personal email address at the time of your offer - please check your inbox (and spam folder) for a message from Human Resources:

  • Employee Demographic Data Form
  • Form I-9 - Employment Eligibility Verification
  • Form W-4 - Federal Tax Withholding
  • Form IT-2104 - NYS Employee's Withholding Allowance Certificate
  • Direct Deposit Form - AC 2772

Need to complete your forms in person? If you are unable to print or complete the paperwork electronically, we'll have everything available for you to fill out during your onboardng session with HR.

Completing Your I-9 & Onboarding Documents

On your first day, bring your required identification and work authorization documents to the HR office to complete your Form I-9 in person.

Important: Federal law requires the I-9 to be completed on or before your first day of work. Your onboarding packet includes the I-9 form and instructions - please review them in advance.

Parking on Campus

Day 1 - Temporary Parking Pass

Before parking on campus your first day, stop by the University Police Department to pick up a complimentary temporary parking pass. Old Westbury Visitor Info

Day 2 - Purchasing a Permit

All employees must purchase a parking permit beginning on their second day.  Permit costs $16 and are valid from September 1 through August 31. Find out more about Parking Permits

Parking Rules to Know:

  • Each vehicle driven used on campus requires its own permit — if you drive more than one car, each needs a separate permit.
  • Park only in designated spaces. Out-of-stall parking will result in a ticket.
  • University Police enforce permits by scanning registered license plates - unregistered vehicles will be ticketed automatically.
