The Student Health Center supports equity and inclusion by providing culturally competent programming to our diverse student population. For example: LGBTQIA+ history month, World AIDS Day, Red Watchband Bystander Intervention Training Program (CPR/AED), free HIV/STI/HCV testing services, and Narcan administration training program. The Student Health Center hosts insurance navigators from NY State of Health Insurance marketplace, Planned Parenthood and Family Planning benefits program, and sexual and reproductive health programs. The Health Center is a designated Safe Space with LGBTQIA+ culturally competent trained staff.
