SUNY Old Westbury offers two distinct styles of living:
- Our Woodlands Residence Halls offer a traditional, center-hall structure where students live among and get to know floormates from all walks of life.
- The Academic Village Residence Halls offer a more independent living opportunity with suite-style accommodations.
Placement of students
- First-year, sophmore and junior students are predominantly housed in Woodlands Halls
- Graduate and Senior class students have the option for a suite-styled experience in our Academic Village
