Campus Residence Halls

SUNY Old Westbury offers two distinct styles of living:
  • Our Woodlands Residence Halls offer a traditional, center-hall structure where students live among and get to know floormates from all walks of life.
  • The Academic Village Residence Halls offer a more independent living opportunity with suite-style accommodations.

Placement of students

  • First-year students are predominantly housed in Woodlands 1 and 2
  • Returning upper-class students have the option for a suite-styled experience in our Academic Village
