Bill Payment

In an effort to conserve both natural resources and reduce printing and postage expenses, we do not mail bills. Students receive bill notification via email to their Old Westbury email accounts. It is important that you keep your in box available and check both your email notification and your account regularly for changes in charges, financial aid, or other billed items.

The following methods are available for payment:

  • Credit Card: Old Westbury accepts VISA, MasterCard and Discover credit card payments which are processed online using the web credit card payment option available on your E-Bill which can be accessed via ConnectOW.
  • Check: Check payments can be made on-line via the ConnectOW portal.
  • Scholarship Check: Place scholarship checks in separate sealed envelope with appropriate documentation and forward to the Office of Bursar at the address below.  Include the student’s identification number (“700” number) with all submissions.
  • 529 College Savings Account: Call your plan administrator, make a request online, or submit a withdrawal request form to have payment sent directly to SUNY Old Westbury.  Please ensure that the student's identification number ("700" number), is included on the check.

Authorized Users (other than students)

Federal regulations require that accounts belong to students and that we must bill the student as the primary account holder. However, students who have parents or guardians assisting them with payments of their bills should create authorized user accounts for them. In this way, your authorized user(s) will also receive email notification each time a billing statement is posted and be able to view and pay on their accounts.

Once a student makes such authorization using his or her Connect OW Portal account, the parent or guardian will use their email address and password created to access the online bill payment system. The online bill payment system can be found via the E-Bill Parent/Authorized User Login.
