The volunteer Executive-in-Residence (EIR) Team initiative is a program within the School of Business at SUNY Old Westbury that was initiated in Fall 2013. Participating business professionals are volunteers who maintain fixed hours on campus to help mentor students, assist them in developing and improving resumes, practice job-interview techniques, and guide them on networking concepts.
The EIR member helps students create or improve resumes and cover letters, review the dos and don’ts of the job-search process, explain job-interview techniques and practice mini-mock interviews, discuss networking techniques, offer thoughts on career questions, and explore additional steps budding entrepreneurs might take in molding a start-up business idea pointing out some of the issues to be considered and suggesting others with whom the students might consult. Students are encouraged to make an appointment.
Fall 2026/Spring 2027 EIR
After a distinguished career spanning the Federal Reserve and international banking across three continents, Mr. Antony Paul is returning to the university where his professional journey began. He has joined the SUNY Old Westbury School of Business as Executive in Residence (EIR), where he will work alongside students and faculty in the areas of finance, leadership, behavioral sciences, and the challenges of navigating global markets.
Drawing on a lifetime of professional experience, Mr. Paul is committed to helping the next generation discover their path, develop meaningful careers, and lead productive and fulfilling lives. He will be available on campus at the School of Business on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. during regular academic weeks.
