Here are some ways you can do this:

  • Career & Internship Fairs (In-person & virtual)
  • Present a workshop or be a panel presenter
  • Company information session
  • Recruitment tabling
  • Employer -in- Residence
  • Networking events and other career programs

Post an Opportunity

We encourage employers to post full-time, part-time, internship and volunteer opportunities on our free career management system, Handshake.

Please note: No job postings will be accepted for student employment that involves working in an individual’s home or home office providing such things as child or elder care, tutoring, housekeeping or administrative work. Furthermore, employment opportunities that require up-front costs such as start-up fees, placement fees, and purchase of lessons, kits, materials or samples will not be posted. The office retains the right to refuse any listing that we deem not appropriate.  Handshake to access information to create an employer account.

Our department adheres to the definition of “Internship” as articulated by NACE’s Standards and Criteria

On Campus Recruitment

Every fall semester Office of Career Planning & Development hosts an Internship and Volunteer Expo and in April of spring semester, the annual career fair takes place. Whether you are interested in full-time or part-time hires, interns or volunteers, these career events will enable you to connect to students seeking opportunities.

Information Tables and Information Sessions

Want to meet students and promote your company and opportunities? Contact us about reserving a table in one of our popular and busy corridors.

Did you connect with students at one of our career events that you would like to interview? You can reserve time in our conference room to have on campus interviews.

Off Campus Opportunities

Employer site visits are essentially on-site information sessions at your organization. This allows you to highlight and market unique aspects of your business while giving students industry and job information that will help them with their career planning. Please e-mail  if you are interested in hosting a small group of students at your company.
