Nassau Vet Center

The Nassau Vet Center offer's confidential help for Veterans, service members, and their families at no cost in a non-medical setting. Our services include counseling for needs such as depression, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and the psychological effects of military sexual trauma (MST). We can also connect you with more support in VA and your community.

Charles Evans Center

CEC is proud to provide Care with Excellence and Compassion to underrepresented populations, and we always strive to meet the unique healthcare needs of each person served, including individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and those with serious mental health and substance use concerns.

Nassau County Veterans Service Agency

VSA's mission is to be an advocate for veterans, their spouses and dependents with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, New York State, and Nassau County.

The Veterans Crisis Line is a great resource for Veteran's in crisis or concerned about one, the Veterans Crisis Line is a free, confidential resource that connects you to a real person specially trained to support Veterans.

New York State Department of Veterans' Services

DVS provides free benefits advising. Experienced and dedicated advisors — each a Veteran — work in a network of field offices across the state and offer Veterans and their families with professional help to resolve social, medical, and economic matters.

United Veterans Beacon House

The United Veterans Beacon House is a great resource to help veterans regain their self-worth and empower them with the tools necessary to rejoin their communities as independent and productive citizens. The services consist of health care referrals, job training, and placement, and assistance with linkage to well-earned financial benefits.

U.S. Department of Labor

Advocate for Veterans

Advocate for Veterans mission statement  includes the following. We founded our company because we saw too many of our Seniors and fellow Veterans struggling with the complexity of both Medicare and VA benefits. We knew those who served our country deserved something better, so we built a company on that principle.

Gilman McCain Scholarship

The Gilman Scholarship is a program of the United State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA). ECA fosters mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries to promote friendly, sympathetic, and peaceful relations.

New York State Small Business Development Center

The New York SBDC Veterans Services and Assistance Program works to provide targeted training, counseling, and mentoring to help veterans start and grow a small business. SBDC Business Advisors help veteran small business owners improve profitability, expand market share, explore export opportunities, and provide valuable assistance in terms of establishing businesses on stronger organizational and financial footing.
