Alumni returned to campus to participate in the annual Alumni Career Exploration Day hosted by the Science & Technology Entry Program (STEP), Collegiate Science & Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) and Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) program.
The 15 CSTEP alumni joined several other professionals in the science, technological, engineering and math (STEM) fields, Medical and Health professions, and the NYS licensed professions that shared their expertise with the STEP and CSTEP/LSAMP participants.
“Career Exploration Day provides a critical link between the classroom and the workplace by offering an opportunity for students to explore various career options,” said Monique Clark-Ciceron, Co-Director for CSTEP/LSAMP who is also a '07 Sociology grad. “This enables them to make informed educational and career choices. The staff of STEP and CSTEP/LSAMP are extremely grateful to have so many alumni return and participate in the event. 2023 marks the 35th Anniversary of our NYSED funded STEP and CSTEP programs. A major part of our celebration is highlighting the achievements of our alumni and we look forward to our continued celebrations and events remaining this year.”
