Entertainment and Sports Management Minor

New York is a hub of the Entertainment Industry and the home of a wide variety of professional, semi-professional, and organized amateur Sports organizations. The minor in Entertainment and Sports Management is designed to give students knowledge and skills to help them enter and succeed in the leadership of these enterprises or deal with them effectively as an agent, player, creator, or in some other capacity.  

Students are required to take 20 credits by completing the five following courses.

1. Foundational Courses (12 credits)

  • PS4420 Entertainment and Sports Management
  • PS4430 Entertainment and Sports Marketing
  • PS4440 Entertainment and Sports Media

2. Advanced Courses (8 credits)

  • PS5425 Entertainment and Sports Law
  • PS5435 Entertainment and Sports Finance
