For the past ten years, Mehreen Ismail has served as a dedicated special education teacher at P177Q – The Robin Sue Ward School, a District 75 program known for its inclusive, student-centered approach. She brings extensive experience teaching across a range of instructional models, including 12:1:1, 8:1:1, and 6:1:1 settings, and consistently differentiates instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of her students.
Ms. Ismail currently leads a culinary worksite program, where she collaborates closely with students to develop vocational, functional, and life skills through hands-on, real-world learning experiences. She is also an active member of the school’s data team, working alongside colleagues to analyze student performance data and apply findings to strengthen data-driven instructional practices that support student growth.
