The SUNY Old Westbury School of Business will serve as host for its “50th Anniversary Golf Outing,” a first-time event being held to support the School’s students and programs. The outing will take place on Monday, June 8, 2026, at Crab Meadow Golf Course in Northport, New York. This milestone event promises an exceptional day of golf, networking, and philanthropy, with proceeds directly benefiting student scholarships and professional development programs.
“This outing brings together our vibrant alumni network and Long Island business leaders for a day of celebration — but more importantly, it supports the next generation of professionals,” says Dr. Shalei Simms, Dean of the SUNY Old Westbury School of Business. “As we celebrate 50 years of business excellence, our goal is to expand the resources available to our students and ensure they enter the workforce fully prepared and supported for success.”
While marking 50 years of business education, the outing also coincides with the 60th anniversary of SUNY Old Westbury, marking six decades of the University’s efforts to instill in its students a passion for learning and a commitment to building a more just and sustainable world.
The event will feature a scramble format, offering golfers of all skill levels a fun and competitive experience. Attendees will enjoy 18 holes of golf, lunch, and a celebratory dinner. The day will also include networking opportunities with local business leaders and distinguished alumni.
