The State University of New York at Old Westbury has been been ranked in Money Magazine in its 2018 “Best Colleges” issue among the colleges and universities that are the best value in America.

SUNY Old Westbury ranked 354 among 727 schools across the U.S. the magazine examined for the annual list. Each school was ranked based on 26 factors in three categories: quality of education, affordability and outcomes. Factors such as estimated tuition costs, percentage of students receiving aid, median student debt, early career earnings and SAT/ACT scores are considered. The College also ranked 65th nationally in terms of producing the lowest average per student debt at graduation of $16,200.

“This recognition reinforces the outstanding caliber of the educational experiences available at SUNY Old Westbury,” said College President Calvin O. Butts, III.  “A SUNY Old Westbury education offers students all kinds of opportunities to succeed and to own the future they want for themselves. Equally important, they can access those opportunities at the affordable price of SUNY tuition, which has long been among the best values in the nation.”
