Inaugural Brooklyn Reunion A Success

BK9 reunion participants

Brooklyn hot spot BK9 Bar and Restaurant played host recently to a private reunion for the Office of Alumni Affairs of the State University of New York at Old Westbury. Nearly 100 alumni participated in the event, which was also attended by College President Calvin O. Butts, III.

The setting itself also had a strong Old Westbury appeal as BK9 was founded by nine friends who grew up in Brooklyn, seven of whom attended SUNY Old Westbury: Gary Casimir ’88, Neslie Brunache ’97, Nerva Jean-Pierre ’91, Watson Jean-Baptiste ‘97, the late Joseph Bertrand ‘95, Gerry Conze and Paul Dorestant.
