SUNY Old Westbury Ranked Among ‘Best Public Colleges in America’

SUNY Old Westbury has been selected as one of the top 250 public universities nationwide, and within the best 25 public institutions in the state of New York according to Buffalo Business First newspaper, an American City Business Journal Publication. The College ranked within the top 50% overall of schools analyzed in the United States.

Following a 22-part formula, Business First developed the rankings based on metrics including admissions selectivity, affordable tuition and costs, diverse student and faculty bodies, and strong graduation and retention rates. The study is based on the latest data from the National Center for Education Statistics and the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey.
