The Center of Excellence for Veteran Student Success and the Department of Athletics will celebrate the experiences of those who have served in the U.S. military in observance of Veteran's Day 2023.
The event will include a flag ceremony with President Timothy Sams that will feature a color guard and remarks by members of the campus community who have served, including:
- Fred Fleisher, assistant professor, Visual Arts
- Kevin W. Hertell, student and founder and president of the Suicide Awareness and Remembrance Flag
- Rachel Littenberg, director of Transfer Student Services
A 1.25 mile Fun Run/Walk will follow the ceremony.
