SUNY Old Westbury Among Money.com ‘Best Colleges in America’

SUNY Old Westbury has been included among the 736 colleges and universities across the country named to the Money.com “Best Colleges in America 2023” list. 

In identifying colleges that combine quality and affordability, Money analyzed 26 data points in three categories, including graduation rates, cost of attendance, financial aid, and alumni salaries in developing a star-based ratings system.  

Four gold stars and one gray star

SUNY Old Westbury earned four stars out of five.

Sams. “Being named of Money’s Best Colleges in America shows clearly that we are succeeding. Money’s star-based ratings system recognizes that there are multiple ways for a school to provide value and determining a “best” college depends upon the goals and priorities of the individual student. Money has been ranking colleges and universities since 2014.
