Requesting help from the counseling center
Members of the counseling center will gladly present to classes and organizations, or help them prepare their own activities.
If you wish to invite a member of the counseling center to assist in any activity or presentation, relating to mental health, psychology or the availability of resources to the students of SUNY Old Westbury, please contact us at counselingcenter@oldwestbury.edu.
Please be advised that the counseling center’s staff is busy during the semester, and cannot accommodate last minute requests. Therefore, please contact us at least two weeks prior to the proposed activity. In addition, please be advised that due to regular demands or lack of particular expertise, we would not be able to accommodate all requests. In such circumstances, we will do our best to refer you to other resources, who may be of help.
