The Office of Purchasing is responsible for procuring goods and services for the campus. Purchasing staff members work with the campus community to ensure that goods and services are obtained in the most resourceful manner and at an economical price while complying with the laws, regulations and policies of SUNY, the NYS Office of the State Comptroller and the NYS Office of General Services. This office also develops requests for proposals, obtains price quotes from vendors, coordinates bids for materials and services, and works closely with Preferred Source and Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises (MWBE’s), Small Business Enterprises (SBE) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) vendors.
