Given weather forecasts for this weekend showing a likelihood of significant snowfall for our area beginning Saturday evening and extending into Monday, the following changes to campus operations are being made:

  • All classes will be offered remotely on both Monday, January 26, and Tuesday, January 27. The Provost will be in touch with faculty members in a separate message to discuss arrangements.
  • Campus offices and services also will be conducted in a remote status on Monday and Tuesday. Staff members should make preparations in advance to ensure we can meet the needs of our students and community while in the remote status. It should be noted that, even with a remote status , employees performing essential services are expected to report.
  • Spring move-in for residential students has been moved to Tuesday, January 27 (no longer on Sunday) with no move-in options available until the halls open on Tuesday. The Office of Residential Life will be communicating with residential students regarding the timing of and processes for the new move-in date.
  • The campus shuttle will delay the start of its normal operating schedule until Tuesday, January 27. There will be no shuttle service this weekend or on Monday. On Tuesday, the shuttle will run on its Spring 2026 regular schedule.

All members of our campus community are asked to monitor their campus email accounts throughout the pending storm should updates be required.
