The SUNY Old Westbury Student Health Center is partnering with the New York Blood Center and asking all in the campus community to "Give with Heart in Honor of American Heart Month."

This means more than just being a donor; it's a chance to be part of something bigger. Partnering with NYBC, SUNY Old Westbury is working to tackle critical blood shortages and support the Long Island community. 

How to Participate

  1. Book Your Spot: Sign up for a time slot at on the NYBC website.  Use sponsor code number 01546 when registering.  Or, contact the Student Health Center at (516) 876-3250.
  2. Prepare: Eat well, stay hydrated, and bring your ID.
  3. Donate: The actual donation takes about 10 minutes, but plan for an hour total.
