Senior Sean Mendyk was named the Skyline Conference Player of the Week in men's golf for the week ending September 19, 2022.
A resident of North Massapequa, New York, Mendyk was selected after finishing first overall at the Yeshiva University Invitational with a score of 72 (+1) to help lead SUNY Old Westbury to a first-place win. Mendyk finished four strokes ahead of second place finisher Zachary Perl of Yeshiva University.
Led by Coach Donald Massmann, the men's golf team competes alongside 13 other teams in the Skyline Conference, with members ranging in location from Northern New Jersey, to Manhattan, Long Island to the lower Hudson Valley.
