The powerful impact of interdisciplinary liberal arts instruction was in fine form recently when students from Chemistry & Physics Assistant Professor Matthew Lippert's Astronomy class took time out to visit the College's Amelie A. Wallace Gallery. While there, they experienced works of physical and digital art and commentary from Visual Arts Assistant Professor Fred Fleisher that tied themes related to space, time and more to the coursework in this general education class.
