Important Testing Policies

  • In-person testing: Students must take the test at the Math Learning Center at the scheduled time. Tests taken remotely or from another location will not be accepted.
  • No calculators: Calculators are not permitted during any readiness test.
  • Sequential testing: Students may take the College Algebra Readiness Test independently. To take the Precalculus Readiness Test, students must first pass the College Algebra Readiness Test. To take the Calculus Readiness Test, students must first pass both the College Algebra Readiness Test and the Precalculus Readiness Test.
  • One-year waiting period: Students may not retake a readiness test until one year after their previous attempt.
