The Chemistry and Physics Department congratulates the following students from the class of 2025 for their outstanding academic performance. They all participated in undergraduate research.
- Melodie Cadichon (Biochemistry major) received the Academic Excellence and Outstanding Achievement in Research awards at the 2025 Honors Convocation, the NY ACS Excellence in Biochemical Sciences Award, and the ACS Outstanding Undergraduate in Biochemistry/Chemical Biology Award in 2025.
- Joseph Orenstein (Chemistry major) received the Academic Excellence and Outstanding Achievement in Research awards at the 2025 Honors Convocation, the NY ACS Excellence in Chemical Sciences Award, and ACS Undergraduate Award in Analytical Chemistry in 2025.
- Adrian Rafael Taveras received Academic Excellence Award.
- Asad Imam (Physics and Math major) received Academic Achievement Award.
- Gabriella Anzalone (Physics major), Melodie Cadichon (Biochemistry major), Asad Imam (Physics and math major), Joseph Orenstein (Chemistry major), Eishan Singh (Physics major) and Adrian Rafael Taveras (Physics major) recieved Academic Achiement Award in Research.

The Chemistry and Physics Department congratulates Thiago Figueiredo and Hania Riaz for their outstanding work and excellence in the chemical science. They both participated in undergraduate research and have a GPA better than 3.5.
- Thiago Figueiredo received the Outstanding College Student Award for Excellence in Chemical Science from the American Chemical Society New York Section in March 2023.
- Hania Riaz received the Outstanding College Student Award for Excellence in Chemical Science from the American Chemical Society New York Section in March 2023, and the Academic Excellence Award at 43rd Annual Convocation to Honor Excellence on April 27 (Thursday), 2023
