The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning for Long Island with severe weather expected to occur starting Sunday and extending into the day on Monday.
Given current forecast estimates, the following changes to campus operations are being made:
- All classes will be offered remotely on Monday, February 23.
- Campus offices and services also will be conducted in a remote status on Monday. University offices and staff are prepared to serve our students and community in a remote status. If you require assistance or action, please contact the appropriate department or team member via phone or email Those needed service should call or email the office or personnel as needed.
- Regarding Campus Shuttle Bus operations:
- On Sunday, February 22, the shuttle will run on its weekend schedule. However, given the expected weather conditions, the shuttle will likely experience delays due to road conditions and traffic.
- On Monday, February 23, the shuttle will not operate.
- Campus Dining operations and hours will change to:
- On Sunday, February 22, the Food Hall will remain open for its normal house. Late Night service will be closed.
- On Monday, February 23:
- The Food Hall will be open for brunch: 10:30 am - 7:00 pm
- Boost Mobile will be open Monday for orders from the food hall only: 10:30 am - 6:30 pm
- All retail will be closed
- BYTE Program located in Woodlands Hall 1 is available 24/7
- Just Baked Vending Machine located in the Campus Center is available 24/7.
All members of our campus community are asked to monitor their campus email accounts throughout the pending storm should updates be required.
