Dr. Josefa Pace has taught a wide range of courses for more than fifteen years at local colleges in New York and California. For about ten years, she has been teaching online courses at Adelphi University within the College of Professional and Continuing Studies. She earned a Ph.D. in Literacy Studies, an M.A. in English/Creative Writing, a B.A. in English and B.F.A. in Theatre.
Her publications include practitioner research articles with a focus on students’ transactional accounts and approaches to multimodalities. Dr. Pace has presented her research multiple times at local and national conferences such as: the Conference on College Composition and Communication, the American Education Research Association, the National Council of Teachers of English, and the Annual Ethnography in Education Research Forum at the University of Pennsylvania.
