how call works
- CALL aligns civic and community engagement with the OW’s mission to “weave values of integrity, community engagement and global citizenship into the fabric of academic programs and campus life.”
- The CALL Experience is an opportunity for all students to connect service, scholarship and skill.
- An introductory CALL Experience is embedded in the second semester of our First-Year program (CL2000 Community Learning Course).
- Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors can participate in CALL Experiences through volunteer, internship, fellowship and course opportunities.
- Advanced experiences connect community and civic engagement with students' degree and career goals.
