BestValueSchools.com has ranked SUNY Old Westbury in its new Top 100 list of the "Most Affordable Universities/Colleges in America." It is the latest higher education ranking group to identify the College for both its dollar value and program excellence.

An excerpt from BestValueSchools.com website in describing SUNY Old Westbury and its #100 ranking credits the College’s long-term commitment to inclusiveness and activism among its many virtues:

“When SUNY College at Old Westbury opened its doors in 1965, it did so with an eye towards inclusivity and experimentation. In fact, its first few graduating classes were some of the most ethnically and racially diverse in the country. Today, the school maintains this legacy through an emphasis on global-mindedness and community involvement.”

To compile its list, the website reviewed nearly 600 public and private institutions that offer four-year curriculums and serve undergraduate enrollments greater than 4,000 students.
