'From the Same Clay'

All on campus are invited to attend the opening event of "From the Same Clay."

This event is being organized by American Studies’ Fatima Logan-Alston and sponsored by the Panther Art Collective.

"From the Same Clay" is an interdisciplinary event combining documentary style film, a contemporary dance performance by VashtiDance Theater (!), and a panel discussion about the role of women in society through the lens of the myth of Lilith, Adam’s first wife. Old Westbury faculty members Dr. Carol Quirke, Dr. Sylvie Kande, and Christine Keller will be the panelists. 

Pre-registration is suggested, but not required.

There will be a drawing for prizes for those who RSVP.
