We will be watching a virtual showing of "I'm Not Your Negro" followed by a virtual discussion facilitated by some of our OW Professors. You can find out more or watch on Netflix.
We will also have an activity as part of discussion "I'm Not Your..." encouraging students to think about stereotypes and their own experiences. During this event, we will make a call for students to submit artwork to express their identities and understanding of the civil rights movement and where we are now through paintings, quotes, essays, or other forms of artwork to be displayed and incorporated in the in-person event on Friday, January 28, 2022.
