Description: Dr. Bieszczad’s research investigates the relationships between the cortex, learning, epigenetics, and function within the area of auditory neuroscience and plasticity.

The Brain Awareness Week Lecture Series provides a unique opportunity for experts in the field to actively engage students in their cutting-edge neuroscience research. Through these lectures, students, as well as other campus community members, will be provided with a broad range of neuroscience related education. These lecture series also supplement the courses offered at SUNY Old Westbury as part of the Neuropsychology Minor.
