2025 Summer Housing on Campus

Students taking summer classes may live on campus ONLY for the duration of their summer class schedule.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Student must be registered and actively attending Summer classes to qualify for summer housing. Students not cleared cannot reside in the halls over the summer.  
  • All students are required to have a summer meal plan as part of summer housing.  

Rates: 

  1. Summer Housing is approximately $325 per week.  (Partial charges are not available).  You are only allowed to reside on campus while your class is in session.  If there are breaks between your sessions, you WILL NOT BE ABLE to live on campus.  We do not provide storage of personal items on campus for students during any time over the summer.  
  2. Summer Meal Plans are required for all students. Meal plans rates are determined by the length of your class(es).  They will be either $286 or $572 dining dollars to be used by the completion of the last class day.  
  3. Key and Damage Deposit of $110 will be automatically charged.  

Application Process: 

  1. Fill out a 2025 Summer Housing Application at the Office of Residential Life (Student Union, Suite 303) beginning Mon, April 29
  2. Clear all Summer housing bills by 4pm on Fri, May 16 and present an “Approved for Room and Board” notice from the Bursar Office. 
  3. Approved students will be Emailed the move over details.  Approved moves will happen between Wed, May 21 through Fri, May 23

SUNY OW Policies to Keep in Mind:

  • All residence hall rules and regulations in the Guide to Campus Living are in effect
  • You must have your ID with you at all times
  • All garbage and personal trash should be taken to dumpsters. 
  • Excessive garbage in common areas can result in additional billing
  • The guest policy is  SUSPENDED for Summer
  • University Police will be conducting rounds in the halls
