Financial Aid

campus - external

You're making an investment in your degree. Our goal is to help you afford your education through grants, scholarships, loans and more.

Students are assigned an advisor when they have been admitted to our University and have applied for financial aid. You can find your advisor by accessing your Success Team through Navigate on ConnectOW portal > "Applications" Card.

Announcements

  • Your calls and e-mails are important to us. To reach Financial Aid staff during this peak period, call (516) 876-3000 Option 3, or send an e-mail to financialaid@oldwestbury.edu using your official Old Westbury e-mail account.  If you call and are prompted to leave a message, please do not hang up. For phone and e-mail, clearly communicate the intent of your call and be sure to leave your name, 700 number and return phone number. A staff member will respond as quickly as possible.
  • To receive financial aid, a student, including an "undecided major," must be in a program of study.
  • The Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID has replaced the Federal Student Aid PIN number for students, parents, and borrowers to access Federal Aid systems.
  • The FAFSA next opens for filing Winter 2024. File your FAFSA by April 15, 2024 to avoid delayed financial aid processing.
