The Teaching and Learning Resources Committee maintains a commitment to connecting Old Westbury faculty and staff with resources that facilitate teaching excellence. As resources come to our attention, we make them available on the TLRC LibGuide.
Roundtables, Workshops, and Seminars
Throughout the year the Teaching and Learning Resources Committee facilitates faculty roundtables, workshops, seminars (including Old Westbury Learning Society (OWLS) Talks), and full-day conferences. Recent programs have featured presenters from throughout the campus community (and beyond), and have addressed a wide range of topics, including:

Support for New Faculty
In addition to ongoing mentorship initiatives, each fall the Teaching for Learning Resources Committee coordinates a New Faculty Orientation program that focuses on issues related to teaching and learning at Old Westbury.
