Earning National Fellowships and Scholarships

Commencement Cap with Fellowships and Scholarships on the side

Old Westbury students who are interested in pursuing external national and international prestigious fellowships should contact the Student Success Center. Students considering scholarships through SUNY Old Westbury and The Old Westbury College Foundation, Inc., should contact the Office of Financial Aid.

Assistance will include identifying opportunities and developing applications. The campus community will be served by:

  • Maintaining a database of and providing information on distinguished scholarships and fellowships.
  • Recruiting applicants and matching student achievements and objectives with award opportunities.
  • Advisement on scholarship process and assistance on application materials.
  • Coordinating campus selection process for nominated awards.

Students interested in discussing and pursuing one of these scholarships or fellowships should review the database for the Old Westbury contact.

Check out our Notable Success Outcomes for a list of Old Westbury's past recipients of these opportunities!
