SUNY Old Westbury's Biological Sciences Department had renewed its accelerated B.S./Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine agreement with New York Institute of Technology's College of Osteopathic Medicine. The program allows Old Westbury students to complete three years towards the Bachelor of Science degree at Old Westbury, and begin the first year of medical studies at NYITCOM.
In addition, an Early NYITCOM Interview agreement has been finalized, which provides Old Westbury pre-med students the chance to have an early interview at NYIT ahead of the regular candidate interview period. For more information about the B.S./D.O. program, visit the Osteopathic Medicine site.
