Panther Coach leads Irish National Team into International Competition

Lauren Schneider, head coach of the Panther women’s lacrosse team that will compete in its inaugural season in 2012-13, is serving this summer as head coach of the Irish Women’s Lacrosse National Team.  Schneider will lead the team as it participates in the 2012 European Championships, which are being held June 20-30 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Organizers of EC2012 are expecting 25,000 fans, 1,000 athletes, 1,000 festival-goers and 29 national men's and women's teams to participate.
