Event date:

Monday, April 22, 2019 - 6:00pm

Location:

New Academic Building, Room 1100
Logo of the Internal Revenue Service

Description:

Some people bend the tax law -- others break it. The Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation Division's job is to pursue the lawbreakers.

What does it take to handle the work of IRS Criminal Investigation?

What kinds of careers might be available through the only agency that can investigate potential criminal violations of the Internal Revenue Code?

IRS Supervisory Special Agent Edward Meehan, who works within the Criminal Investigation Division, will visit campus to discuss the division’s work, the roles he and his colleagues play in the investigation and litigation processes, and the opportunities available to those interested in this public service career opportunity.

This event is open to all students on campus.

This program is being coordinated by the faculty of the M.S. in Forensic Accounting program and the School of Business.
