International Womens Day at SUNY Old Westbury

The SUNY College at Old Westbury English Department is hosting a  poetry open reading and read-in to honor International Women's Day. Come to to listen or come to read. Anyone can come and perform their own work or that of a female poet. There will be also be a special dedication celebrating the work of poet Meena Alexander. The program, sponsored by the English Department, the Center for Student Leadership & Involvement, and the Women's Center, is a part of the Leadership Development Certificate Program and open to all students.
