This poetry reading is in honor of African and Afro-LatinX by the Old Westbury community where anyone can come and perform their own work or that of a African poet. Lunch is provided!

The program, sponsored by the Center for Student Leadership & Involvement, the English Department and the Black History Month Committee, is a part of the Leadership Development Certificate Program and open to all students.

The LDCP is a college-wide program that is open to all majors and all class years. We've collaborated with offices throughout the campus to give you a comprehensive leadership program to enhance your resume and make you a more marketable future employee.
