Join Center for Student Leadership & Involvement and Dr. Diana Papademas from the Sociology department for a film screening and discussion of Rumble, a documentary film that profiles the impact of indigenous musicians in Canada and the United States on the development of rock music.  Artists profiled include Charley Patton, Stevie Salas, Buffy Sainte Marie, Robbie Roberson, Jimi Hendrix, Taboo and others.

The film features many influential musicians who discuss the musical contributions of indigenous artists, including commentaries from Quincy Jones, George Clinton, Taj Mahal, Martin Scorsese, John Trudell, Steven Tyler, Marky Ramone, Slash, Iggy Pop, Buddy Guy and others.

Earn LDCP Credit and snacks are provided.
