The SUNY Old Westbury Financial Literacy Fair has been postponed. At present time, no make up date has been set.
Did you know that April is Financial Awareness Month?
What better time could there be to offer the SUNY Old Westbury community a one-day program to help answer critical questions concerning personal finance?
Presented by the Financial Literacy at Old Westbury (FLOW) Committee, the Fair will offer news and advice for students, faculty and staff to support them in making sound financial decisions, understanding the impact those decisions can have on their lives, and recognizing the different financial choices available to them depending on their own individual needs.
The Fair will include an exhibition hall and workshops throughout the day. Topics and workshops scheduled to date include:
- Building Credit/Credit Cards
- Identity Theft/Taxes
- Retirement Planning & Pension Info
- Financial Planning
- And more...

This event is free and open to all students and employees of the College!
(Of course, employees must obtain supervisory approval to attend)
