SUNY Old Westbury joins campuses across the country in hosting programs in honor of U.S. Constitution Day.  With the ongoing national dialogue surrounding the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, SUNY Old Westbury will brnig together speakers to offer varied perspectives on the impact of the proposed elimination of the program, the legalities involved for DACA students, and the possible courses of action to be taking over the coming months.  

The speakers who will be sharing and providing information on DACA will include:

  • Ajay Saini, NYS Assistant Attorney General - Civil Rights Division
  • Maryann Slutsky, Executive Director - Long Island WINS
  • Susan Gottehrer, Nassau County Chapter Director, American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)
