Applied Learning

 

The Program for Applied learning at SUNY Old Westbury enriches courses and activities campus wide to turn theory into action.  The goals of project based learning are to help students develop career competencies and refine their career goals.

In the 2018-2019 Academic Year, 103,527 matriculated students participaged in 26853 approved applied learning course sections. (SUNY.edu- Applied Learning)

The programs listed below are designed to support SUNY Old Westbury's mission, "weaves the values of integrity, community engagement, and global citizenship into the fabric of its academic programs and campus life.” By embedding opportunities throughout the College for members of the campus community for applied learning, helping all involved enhance their knowledge, skills, and values.
