Transfer Articulation

In the past the College has established, with regional two-year colleges, cooperative articulation agreements that specify procedures designed to encourage and facilitate transfers from these colleges into upper-division academic programs at SUNY Old Westbury.

Old Westbury traditionally has articulation agreements in several academic disciplines. However, curriculum changes often require such agreements to be routinely updated. These agreements list degree programs at two-year colleges that are parallel to Old Westbury's degree programs. Associate degree holders admitted into the parallel program are granted full credit for courses completed at the two-year college and are given junior standing. Generally, these students would be able to complete a bachelor's degree in four semesters of full-time study at Old Westbury.
