Common Problems

• When AOL is loaded it adds other progrmas and it has in the past caused problems.
  • One work around is to load the latest version of AOL (AOL 9.0)
• With Windows XP some users turn the Internet Firewall Feature on which causes students to restrict access to the Internet.
  • Please check that this feature in turned off.
  • Open Control Panel and Double Click on Netwrok Connections
  • Right Click on Local Area Connection and Select Properties
  • Click the Advanced Tab

Make sure the Internet Filewall checkbox is unchecked.
