Online Databases

The Library subscribes to a number of database services designed to help you locate articles in journals, newspapers, magazines, and reference sources.These databases are available from on and off-campus computers. You must be a College at Old Westbury student or staff member to access these databases from off campus.

Citation Search finds the full text of an article if it is available in our online databases. Enter at least the exact title of a journal you are looking for and the year of publication.

Database Journals is an alphabetical list of journals that indicates where in our collection the full text of the journal's articles can be found.

Search Databases will allow you to search thought databases/journals/articles by either Title or Subject.
